The new Lions Field football stadium is nearing completion.  The lights have been installed, the playing surface is green and growing, and the Bowl looks fantastic.  We will be finished and ready to go by our first home game against the Glenbrook Apaches on August 28.  The next construction to be completed include two major projects:  The Fieldhouse/Lockerroom, and the Press Box.  On Saturday August 9 we will be forming up the pedestrian sidewalks around the stadium for concrete which will be installed next week. 

Phase II of the athletic complex will begin immediately with the construction of the Lions Diamond (baseball field).  The goal is to be playing on the new baseball field this spring.
